Privacy Policy

This page describes what NeroView collects when you visit neroview.com, request a demo, subscribe to Field Notes, or book a call — and what we do with it. It does not cover the product atplatform.neroview.com, which has its own agreement with customers.

Who we are

NeroView is operated by NeroView Inc., registered at 1623 Mariani Dr., Sunnyvale, CA 94087, United States. In this policy, "we," "us," and "NeroView" refer to that entity acting as the data controller for neroview.com.

Questions about this policy, or requests concerning your data, go toprivacy@neroview.com.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what a given feature needs to work. The table below is the complete list — every row traces to a real request path or script in this codebase, not a hypothetical.

DataPurposeProcessor(s)Storage / retentionLegal basis
Email, name, and note submitted on the demo/report formRespond to your enquiryResend (email delivery), Vercel (function execution and logs)24 months from last contactConsent, and legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry
Email address submitted to Field NotesSend the newsletter you signed up forResendRetained until you unsubscribeConsent (opt-in when you submit the form)
IP addressAbuse prevention and rate-limiting on form submissionsUpstash (Redis, sliding-window counter), Vercel (request handling)Rate-limit counter keys expire within about an hour; hosting-provider request logs are retained on the order of 45 daysLegitimate interest (security and abuse prevention)
Name, email, and time you select when booking a callScheduling a demoCalendly (third party — see their privacy policy)Governed entirely by Calendly's own policy — we do not receive or store this server-sideConsent — the scheduler only loads after you accept analytics or explicitly click "Load the scheduler"
Analytics identifiers (client/session IDs, event parameters)Understand which pages and paths get usedGoogle (GA4)14 months (GA4 default) once analytics is liveConsent (you accept analytics in the cookie banner)
Accessibility preferences (text size, contrast, motion, font)Remember your display settings on this deviceNone — stays in your browserHeld in localStorage on your device until you clear it or reset it in the accessibility panelNot applicable — nothing leaves your browser
Consent choice (accepted / declined)Remember your cookie/analytics decision so we don't ask twiceNone — stays in your browserHeld in localStorage on your device until you clear it or change it via Cookie settingsNot applicable — nothing leaves your browser

Two systems previously in this table have been or are being removed: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collected aggregate page and performance metrics with no visitor-level identifiers. Once GA4 is confirmed live, Google becomes the sole analytics processor and this policy will be updated to match.

Cookies and local storage

We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data. The only things stored on your device are the accessibility and consent preferences described above, plus — if you accept analytics — whatever cookies Google Analytics sets under its own policy. You can change your decision at any time; see "Withdrawing consent" below.

International transfers

Resend, Vercel, Upstash, Calendly, and Google may process data on infrastructure outside your country. Data may be processed in the United States by our processors (Vercel, Google, Resend, Upstash, Calendly). Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Under GDPR/UK GDPR, this includes the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contactprivacy@neroview.com.

For analytics and cookies, use the persistent Cookie settings button in the corner of every page to reopen your preferences and change your decision at any time — declining stops new data from being collected going forward.

For data already held about you outside your browser — a lead-form submission or a Field Notes subscription — emailprivacy@neroview.com and we will process the request. We respond to verified requests within one month (30 days), as required by GDPR Article 12; deletion is handled manually on request (no automated deletion pipeline yet).

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last revised" date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Material changes — a new processor, a new category of data, a change in legal basis — will be called out here, not buried in a date bump.
